Hot Vanilla Matcha Latte
Ingredients:
1 cup warm milk (any milk you prefer)
3g RHEA MATCHA ceremonial matcha
20–25 ml hot water (70–80°C)
½–1 tsp vanilla syrup (adjust to taste)
Directions:
1. Prep Your Whisk:
Dip the whisk in warm water for a few seconds to soften the bristles. This helps create a smoother froth.
2. Sift the Matcha:
Add Rhea Matcha Powder to a bowl through a sifter to avoid clumps and get a silky texture.
3. Combine With Hot Water:
Pour in the hot water and gently swirl to start dissolving the matcha.
4. Whisk Until Smooth & Frothy:
Whisk in fast side-to-side motions until the mixture becomes bright and lightly foamy.
5. Add Vanilla:
Mix in the vanilla syrup while the matcha is still warm so the flavor spreads evenly.
6. Heat the Milk:
Warm your milk (don’t boil it, just hot and steamy). Froth it if you want a café-style texture.
7. Pour & Layer:
Add the warm milk into your cup, then gently pour the whisked matcha on top.
Stir lightly or leave it layered for an aesthetic look.
8. Optional Topping:
Finish with a thin layer of milk foam or a tiny vanilla drizzle.
