Sparkling Matcha Limeade
Ingredients
1 fresh lime (juiced)
200 ml sparkling mineral water or club soda
3g RHEA MATCHA ceremonial matcha
50 ml hot water (70–80°C)
1–2 tsp agave syrup or honey (optional)
Fresh mint leaves and lime slices (for garnish)
Ice cubes
Directions
Prep the Whisk:
Dip your bamboo whisk in hot water for a few seconds to soften the prongs.
Sift the Matcha:
Sift RHEA MATCHA into a small bowl to ensure a perfectly smooth texture.
Mix with Water:
Add the hot water to the bowl and whisk briskly in a "W" motion until the matcha is fully dissolved and a light froth forms.
Prepare the Base:
In a tall glass, combine the fresh lime juice and your sweetener of choice. Stir until well mixed.
Assemble:
Fill the glass with plenty of ice cubes. Pour in the sparkling water, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
The Final Pour:
Gently pour the prepared matcha over the sparkling limeade. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime slice. Stir gently before sipping to combine the layers.
