Sparkling Matcha Tonic
Ingredients
6 oz premium tonic water
3g RHEA MATCHA ceremonial matcha
50 ml warm water (70–80°C)
Large ice cubes
A fresh lime slice (for garnish)
Directions
1. Prep the Whisk
Dip your bamboo whisk in hot water for a few seconds to soften the prongs.
2. Sift the Matcha
Sift RHEA MATCHA into a small bowl to ensure a perfectly smooth, lump-free texture.
3. Mix with Water
Add the warm water to the bowl and whisk briskly in a "W" motion until the matcha is fully dissolved and a light froth forms. Set aside to cool slightly.
4. Prepare the Base
Fill a tall serving glass to the brim with large ice cubes. Gently pour the chilled tonic water over the ice, leaving a little space at the top of the glass. Drop in the fresh lime slice.
5. The Final Pour
Slowly and gently pour the whisked matcha directly over a single ice cube at the top of the glass. Pouring it over the ice breaks its fall, allowing the vibrant green tea to float beautifully on top of the clear, bubbly tonic. Stir gently before sipping to combine the crisp flavors.
